Stonehenge and Bath Tour – Sept. 15, 2013

Today started at 7 a.m.

A huge group of students piled onto buses and headed off for our first destination, which was Stonehenge.

The forecast called for rain, of course. And it started sprinkling right as we stepped off the bus. Luckily, it didn’t last. The only negative was that the wind made the trip a rather cold one.

Some Panhel photos had to be taken. The rest of the time was spent wondering how and why Stonehenge became what it is today. I would really like to understand it. I have my own theories…

We arrived at Bath, and went directly to the Bath house itself…

All I can say is that it doesn’t look so refreshing nowadays. Still, it’s pretty fascinating. They were able to make a museum out of the ruins and everything is pretty much intact.

The city of Bath itself, was gorgeous! It was so pleasant. It wasn’t too overly crowded, and the buildings were lovely. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to spend enough time there. I wish we could have been there longer!

Even still, it was a solid day of exploration!
